National Fitness Director

Simon is an experienced Fitness professional, with over a decade of experience operating in a variety of roles within the Fitness Industry.

Simon started his career as a contracted Personal Trainer with a leading Fitness Company in 2008, with a hunger for growth he used this platform to ingrain the fundamentals of various Fitness instruction duties such as coaching one on one clients, earning the role of head Bootcamp instructor, along with engaging in the corporate sector, coaching local schools and businesses in exercise and lifestyle management.

After success with multiple Personal Training businesses his next challenge was to learn the operational side of running a gym. This led to his introduction into the TBH group, meeting Todd and being assigned the Club Manager of Snap Fitness Conder (ACT) in 2011. Simon was set with the task of independently opening the new club, with the remaining network of gyms based inter-state. Given his natural competitive nature, the challenge was accepted and building on his PT sales and marketing skills, he successfully grew the club to capacity within the first year of operation, along with maintaining a solid base of PT clients within the club simultaneously.

Although successful in this role, Simon was looking for further growth and wanted to fuel his new-found skill for management and combine this with his passion for Personal Training. This led him to move to Melbourne for an opportunity to be assigned as the Cluster Personal Training Manager of a well-known chain of 24/7 gyms. This platform introduced Simon to managing multiple staff across many gyms and crafted a new skill in software management, creating live online cloud based operational systems to allow the team to work in sync across the network. Now armed with both a high level of experience in PT Management and Operational systems, Simon approached Todd with the idea to implement these systems across his national network of gyms, and was assigned the National Fitness Manager.

Simon has had the opportunity to travel the world to attend various fitness conventions and continuing education courses with an ambition to seek the latest innovations and learning opportunities the industry has to offer. This has led him to become a leader in the group and grow into a well-respected member of the company. Within the national role Simon has successfully coached over 300 Personal Trainers, 60 Club Managers, within a network of 45 commercial gyms and counting. Working remotely with such a large network has forced him into a growth mindset, always looking to be as efficient as possible with time and resources.  Overall Simon is passionate about coaching, and uses this attribute in his schedule of business coaching, training and development, along with presenting at various fitness summits and state / national level meetings.
